| 02-22-99 : Mr. Popo the Wonder Hub : -Pasty | | | | Saturday and Sunday Mandrake, Beholder adn myself had a LAN party at Drakes.We used my hub (Mr. Popo, the wonder hub) and it works (unlike Beholders).However Beholder now has the fastest system out of us 3 w/ a Celeron 350w/ the Creative Banshee card. We played a lot of 3 on 3 ctf versus eraserbots. They got beat down pretty regularly. When we switched from the oldctf maps to the wtf map pack, things got harder. Maybe we'll post somedemos. | | | | |

This weekend we *may* be ableto use it with at least 3 people and test the new developments in DBQ.Today a real live Dragonball got put into the game (unskinned). Although I am a good little Eagle Scout,I am still a Dirty Little Bastard, and if you dispute that, I'll kick yourass in Q2. Also, I tried MP3Spy at home, and didnt see why everyone thoughtit was so great. Then I got it here at high school, and this T1 reallyowns. I am listening to techno right now. Work is going well on DBQtestand later today we may have a map up with respawn points for Dragonballs,DBall models w/ skins, and properly working code to put them in. Schoolis taking too much of my time. I don't even do homework and I can't getto do all I want. The senior skip day planned for today was cancelled. | | | | |
| 02-11-99 : New News : -Pasty | | | | We havea new member, Kjeldor. He played with Scorp99, Mandrake, and myself ina couple of 2on2 GXMOD games which we have demos of that I'll upload whenI can. I have been making some progress with the code for DBQ, and we mightbe joining with the Z-teamto work on our mod. They made a Dragonball TC for Quake1 but couldn't continueon their Q2 project because they didn't have coders or mappers. All wehave is coders and mappers so far, so this could work out damned well.I have a 4day weekend this week, but friday Drake and I will be visitingOSU. Monday is a computer show, a bunch of us are gonna buy a hub :) Wednsdaynext week is a senior skip day, so I should be getting a bit of work donein the coming week. | | | | |

We might have another coming in soon from Fingers, TrX, and my school. I also added a shitty, rotten graphic to the DBQ page. | 02-04-99 : 350MHz w/ 5 1/4" : -Pasty | | | | I just wanted to let everybody know that Mandrake and me just finishedbuilding a 350MHz AMD for our friend. The only points of interest are thefact that it is probably the only system of this speed in the world witha 5 1/4" drive in it. When we tore apart her 25MHZ for parts, we stolethe 2x cdrom and the combo floppy drive. It was weird, they actually hadflathead screws in the thing! | | | | |
